Dr. Muhammad Ajmal Shah is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacy, Hazara University, Mansehra, Pakistan, specializing in pharmacognosy, natural products chemistry, and the development of standardized herbal therapeutics. He obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, and has extensive international research collaborations, holding visiting and adjunct professorships at several universities in Indonesia and Uzbekistan. Dr. Shah has authored over 100 publications in Web of Science and Scopus indexed journals, contributed more than 70 book chapters, and edited internationally published books, with research focusing on green extraction of bioactive phytochemicals and their applications in metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases. He is recognized among the Stanford Top 2% Global Scientists (2024–2025) and actively contributes to advancing phytomedicine, nutraceuticals, and herbal product development.
