Dr. Sandra Vojnović is a full research professor in the Eco-biotechnology and Drug Development Group. Her research focuses on bioactive compounds—particularly antifungal agents—as well as biotechnology and microbial ecology. Currently, Dr. Vojnović is currently focused on biotechnological research involving bacterial fermentation and the optimization of bioactive compound production. She is also involved in developing biotechnological processes for converting plastic waste into valuable bacterial products.
